In NYC since Monday...I grew up here...but here looking at property gives a very strange perspective. It's fun going into stangers' apartments on high floors and looking out over Manhattan, very Fight Club. People really furnish their place entirely from a catalog. Do they buy it all on the same day...and presto?

I need to post some pictures...particularly of Gomez, my dachshund.

Having never joined anything, I am seduced so quickly by the tenderness of the SG, trying so hard to be hard. I feel as a geezer alien in a land of milk and honey. And so...as the murky light comes out, here in the north...off to work.
