challenge yourself. choose the $ amount you want to attain within x months. choose an amount that's a bit "over the top". at first it might seem impossible to accomplish, but that's the point. that should serve as a motivator to push yourself to prove you wrong.

that's what i did. i set the $ amount i want to have by the end of this year and i already hit it with two and a half months to spare. wink

Reclusion has worked for me. If I don't go out, I don't spend money. Of course, it has its disadvantages, too.

the last day has been refreshing and lazy. it's so nice to relax for five seconds. had the pleasure of spending it w/ Jesse, grabbed a bite last night and headed to see Pink Martini. they were amazing, as i had expected. all in all i had what i would venture to call a next to perfect evening, everything seemed right. it was warm...

you would think an extreme lack of sleep would teach me to get my work done earlier. i'm sure however that i'll do the same thing next time, it's just ridiculous. anyone have a cure for this procrastination bullshit??? a pill or something? i'm fairly certain that anyone who developed such a drug would shortly become very wealthy. i'll just have to keep my fingers...

i've been thinking of relocating for about four months now. the destination keeps changing, but now i have it narrowed down to two locations. i wish it wasn't almost a whole year off though, i am so anxious. it's either a rather short move, that will land me next to many friends and loved ones, or it's a move that could prove to be quite...

went to class, was fairly productive
came home early

i wish my day today would have gone better. i've been so tough lately, and things have been going well. but the one guy who ruins my heart came into my work today. the one guy who can make my world come crashing down like no one else.....why the hell was he there. ever since i was small, he's had a knack for making this...

Wow. Without knowing the situation between you and your father, I can practically feel through the internet the pain you're in as a result of this. I doubt there's really anything I can say or write that would make things better, but I wish you nothing but the best of luck in dealing with all this.

so many pages in my paper-journal devoted to the love and hate of my father...i think the general crappyness of dads these days (and maybe since time memorial) makes me want to work with youth. i hope you find the means to untap your strength when faced with your father.

the voice of hope sandoval is haunting my mind
my day has been a perfect grey rainy one
i got caught in a thunder storm and got drenched on the way to class
the hail hurt my face, but the thunder and lightening was beautiful
i was productive in the lab at school today, got some work done
i bumbled around campus today daydreaming to...

yeah right...the thing is that i'm really not a good guitar player to begin with. it's just a hobby at best and the new guitar is well beyond my abilites as it is, but i really wanted it so i got it anyway.
i ordered it online and i hope that it get's here in a week or so.
as for playing in front of girls...well, i usually don't. especially in your case as you know what a decent guitar player can do.
i'd just look like a dipshit.
now playing in front of people that have no idea, that's another story completely. wink
now if i were collin, i'd just take my shirt off, grab a guitar, and watch the girls come runnin'.
that bastard. sometimes i hate him. biggrin
