My brother left for his adventures in Africa last night. Right now, I think he is in Dubai though, probably exploring a bit and flying out later. How cool. He's going to be working with wildlife and it will be interesting to see what a dramatic life style change will do to him by the time I meet him in Italy in April.

My dad was in a really bad car accident yesterday. The man is an ox. His car was rolled multiple times apparently after a pretty much head on collision (the other drivers were probably going more than 65 MPH/120 KMH). The car is crushed and he climbed out the roof. never been in that situation but if I had to live with my landlord I think I'd rather have him live upstairs instead of downstairs... as long as you don't make too much noise I think you should be okay, it's easier to make noise to someone below you that the opposite. Let us know how it turned out, and like everyone else said, maybe invite him to one of those parties ?

Depends on the landlord. The one time I was in that situation it was pretty sweet though. Prevented the neighbors from being assholes.
