Heya. Erm, okay, I'm not sure if the procedure's the same for SG's in waiting as it is for ordinary Joe's like me but on the "Update" page, there should be a bit below the "new journal entry" type bit and above your "friends list" bit which allows you to select your fave SG's. Hope this helps.
