Wayhay on those very nice and special people, Patrick and Michelle finally opening their shop in amsterdam. I wish them all the luck in the world. So if you're ever in the city of the damned be sure to rent your bikes there. And don't bother bringing any shoes, you can buy them there too biggrin

How did they manage it? A friend of mine is going through hell trying to quit. Help groups just aren't helping.

I have known people who have lost everything, and I mean everything to this vicious habit. But, frankly outside of institutionalization There are few options that will work. If they are not ready to quit. However, get some friends together, and confront him in a group, offer your help. Habits are not cheap, and it takes money to support, so someone needs to control their finances.. They also need to cut all their ties with old snort friends, and find a new environment and new friends. I know this is difficult. But, it must be done, or they will simply fall back into the habit. Also, someone needs to be with him 24/7 for 1-2 weeks. Take him to work, pick him up and basically baby sit them. If things look like they may get out hand a shot of whiskey to take the edge off, and support groups aint for everyone, so help them network with sober friends. Good luck to all of you.

mijn vriend is 5 jaar verslaafd geweest aan Speed. ik denk da diejen eerste persoon een beetje teveel naar "trainspotting" heeft gezien dus kzal ne plausibelen uitleg geven.

Voor hem was ikzelf de drijfveer. Bottom line is da ze da zlf echt moeten willen. Hij heeft er niets speciaals voor gedaan en een van zijn goeie vrienden is den dealer die hij bleef zien, maar hij is er cht afgebleven. Hij is nu zo'n maand clean, in de vijf maand heeft die de eerste 2 weken welis een lijntje durven snoren.

Ik denk dat breken met andere vrienden die drugs doen zeker NIET de oplossing is, het blijven uw vrienden , als ge zelf sterk genoeg zijt zet ge u erboven dat anderen dat doen.

Kweni, laat hen zoiezo rst minderen, ipv 3 keer/dag bvb 1 keer, elke week een stapke minder. Na max 3 maand zijder vanaf (als ge het zelf echt wilt )

The good luck dragon's name is actually Falcor, but I also like your version of his name. Sounds sort of regal. I think most of us wanted to ride him, which is a nice change from the usual dragon. Those one usually wanted to run away from!

Bukowski's work is certainly filled with both good and bad memories. That's why I like the book I just finished. It flows between the two nicely.
