i just found out that i took first place in one of penn state's undergraduate poetry contests
this is the second year in a row i've won one. makes me happy, like last year wasn't just a fluke. who knows, maybe i can write after all

I am totally with you on the not liking people front.I used to like most everyone too, but I'm pretty sure I was just mistreated by so many people that my ability to like almost anyone is practically non-existant. My friends and I used to talk about buying an island that would just be for us. That way we could bring in, or kick out, whoever we wanted. I still really, really, like that idea.
