I'm supposed to be studying Thomas Aquinas' "Politics and Law" right now... but no... your pictures are creating "VICE" to use his terms... as my reason is being emplyed to further serve savage impulses and base desires. Bad bad bad! you see, according to Aquinas, there's different levels of law... (bear with me here...) THere's Eternal Law, which is the rational order of the universe as controlled by God, represented by the fact that you, suicidegirl Emma, are here and existing in a rational and constant state of being. (gravity, time, etc...) There's Natural Laws, which are the ways you relate to these constants (based upon Eternal Law) the expression of your personal inclinations like seeking food, shelter, joy, or things like communication, when and how you do. Below that, (it's hierearchical) there's Human Law, which is just the way people try to use reason to figure out how to best arrange these inclinations on a societal level so that we can all "just get along." Which brings us finally to DIVINE LAW... which is the means by which humanity is directed towards it's higher nature. This comes from GOD. And according to Aquinas, it is only in following this Divine Law that humans fulfill their truest potential... and he also said that your Divine SG Law -potential was to IM or e-mail me or something.
