So I now have an ipod, and thus a soundtrack to my life. Its pretty sweet. I also have the new Beastie Boys and the new The Used cds, both are awesome. I love dogs and cats. I wouldn't mind having one of each but my landlord (who also happens to be my big brother) doesn't want pets in the house (although I did have an ant farm at one point but after a while the ants died...still there' plenty more in the back garden should I wish to start again!!)
I once shared a house with a guy who had 3 cats. They were so sweet and so individual. One of them was a bit of a tom boy and he used to strut around like he owned the place (until you tickled him behind the ears and then he was a big softie and he would just sit there purring and dribbling). One of them was just really laid back and used to laze around getting fatter and fatter and the third one was really timid and used to run away from everyone and it took a lot of effort to win her trust!
Of course some cats are conniving little critters! Years ago my parents had a cat. When she decided that it was feeding time she would bug my parents and if they didn't give in right away, she would jump up on the kitchen work surface, wait until she was sure being watched and then deliberately knock things off with her paws!!
