yup I think it's true. I've just been shopping for clothes on the weekend. It certainly varies brand to brand but I think this trend has been on the increase the last few years. For example Adidas garments in the UK are labeled one size smaller than they are here. Their extra large is our large etc.
I think it's a marketing ploy. I bought a pair of cords at American Eagle outfitters a couple of years ago, knowing I'm about a size 11 I bought a pair of size 7. I coulda walked out of there feeling like 'shopping at AEO makes me feel good about myself!"

especially the whatnot part. my business has been expanding
slowly and i am building some momentum now wich feels
good.
something else i have been getting into is building computer
systems for a local non-profit. yes, i am really this geeky.
