Unfortunately some people don't know any other things to speak than utter shite. Spose we can live in the knowledge that if these people have to make stuff up about their lives they effectively don't exist in reality and in my world, that's the way i like to see it anyway! Good to hear from you Echo, peace x
The last time I saw fire dancers was the Parahara festival in Sri Lanka. they also had guys suspended by hooks in their backs over hot coals. it was spiffy. I decided I want to run away with a circus so I can be a tightrope walker. the only prob is I'm way afraid of heights and I have almost no coordination. It would be a short career.
Hey hey Hi! Visiting with you was just lovely. We must do it again sometime. I'll be at the SG thing at Dante's tonight; maybe I'll see you there.
Until next time.
Re: Balance. Balance is nearly impossible for me. I throw myself into things 100% and neglect everything else. To an extent I strive for balance, but it's largely a futile effort. I try to add balance to my life by having friends with different views and perspectives, and balance myself vicariously. Limited success with that - I can only connect at the deepest levels with people who think like I do. So I end up sacrificing intimacy for balance. Balance: easier said than done.
why hello -- i am a dirty old man who loves aphex twin. i have a beard too. christ, i think this is the dumbest thing i've yet written in anyone's journal!!! you are just too unbearably cute and you make my fingers not work right!!! only typing dumbn things... must stop...
hooray for echinacea. zinc and vitamin c do wonders for me, though not for all.
*confusion* as to what exactly you were "but i will"ing about (the charging up of the phone to call in sick, or the going into work despite the sickness), but either way it's a win-win. The way I see it, if you've called in sick, you more speedily recover from your illness. But if you went into work, you'll most likely be spreading whatever virus you may have, thus causing more discomfort, and we all know that few things are more gratifying than making the people around us feel just as, if not more, crappy as we ourselves do.
It's scary to think that Mr Rogers was once a jarhead. The only idea that scares me worse is that Barney Fife was the most feared drill instructor ever to walk Parris Island. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't think I could have made it through boot camp with a straight face.
Yes, and when it rained, the ink in those books would eventually run. pooling into a vast, black ocean wherein bookworms would surf, frolic and, on the pulpy beaches, build miniture castles of binding glue.
i totally feel what you're saying, i've been feeling the same way.
ok, so i live in the midwest. just put 'midwest' in your teleport machine and it'll work! i'll look extra cute to pay for my teleportation fee's and i'm a hot date i swear! yahoo!
hiding "tobacco smoking apparatti" from the 'rents also sucks.
"THAT? well, uhm. that's for incense."
about SG Prom? Initially the organizer said that "everyone will be dating everyone," so that couples would be the exception rather than the rule. I can see that making the prom a primarily stag event will allow more members to feel less anxiety of finding a fellow sg member/girl to go. Myself, I'm particularly stoked that shy bashful dwarves like me won't feel anxious about re-living our high school prom experiences of asking out secret crushes, but instead winding up going with ex-girlfriends.
But is it true you'll really be coming down to California? *giddy*
Shouldn't worry to much about V-Day. Pain is our greatest inspiration, and the lack of love creates a universe of disillusionment. I'm sure this will only help you with Echoe's Guide to Disillusionment.

or any other writings you have? Will trade for some of my cheesey stuff.
