dali pieces are always captivating to see in person...they have one or two originals at the Minneapolis Institute...the surrealism area there is always fun to just sit and zone in.
when i lived in Eugene i would drive up to Portland and hide in Powell's for hours on end...my friends would think i had gone missing, but i would be surrounded by tons of books...they only have Border's and Barne's and Noble here for large booksellers, all the alternative bookshoppes are rather small...i should fly out there just to go book shopping.
