I'm getting real dreads this weekend or early next week!!!!! biggrin Happy Dance!!!
Today my man's sister and I am going to see her new condo and shopping for a dress for a wedding I got to go to at the end of the month or early next month I don't really know.

I think it's soon time to edit my friends list. Not that many of you actually reply to my journals. I'd rather get to know the few that do. I think the majority have never made a comment. So no offence if you get dropped, but if you want to really be my friend, you'll make the effort.

Holy. My computer was down for a few days and I thought that I was going to die. I didn't have access to friends or family, it sucked. But I had so many ladies to see when I got back on biggrin

I went to ikea yesterday...OMG! We didn't have one of those in saskatoon. I can't believe we only spent a hour in there but it's cause I had an appointment at the bank.I bought a dresser, a mirror and a laundry hamper.

Hello Everybody! I've made it to vancouver, I'm alive and I can't believe how beautiful it is here. And the air... so very moist. God it feels good, but it doesn't seem real.

We went out for sushi for lunch, SO GOOD.

I really think that I'm going to love it here.

I had my last day at work in saskatoon today. It was really sad saying goodbye to everyone. As much as that place has stressed me out I will miss it. I have learned a lot from the people that I had the opportunity to work with.

i have a good friend that lives out at shambala and works there. has for the past year and a half or so, maybe a bit more at this point. it's a dharma school of tibetan buddhism but rooted in a very liberal, modern practice borrowing heavily from many other traditions. very interesting from what i understand and a locale prone to encouraging profound realizations about self, or place in all of this messy existence, etc.
