Ach! I'm so sorry to hear that! Bureaucratic crap like that time and again just seems to utterly suck all the joy and hope out of life. Are you sure all is lost though? I know down in the States here, the student loan/gateway-to-a-life-of-indentured-servitude system is a beast unto itself, but there were always loopholes to open the door to expand and feed the beast that is your student loan debt, like deferments, forbearances and the like.
