Are you sure to accept EVERY stray sock I send? I mean, if I cared about them, I would keep and care for them myself, but the fact of the matter is, there are just too many people out there who are equally responsible for their predicament as am I, and you offered, so why should I trouble myself with them?
I really love my stray socks, however. How am I to be certain they will be properly attended to?
