The thing I like most about being a member on this site is, it's a place to call home because the amount of heart here is overpowering.

Reading about how much the site has helped you is pretty wonderful. A big motivation I have for still being here is doing my best to be helpful when someone is struggling with the sorts of self esteem issues that were so difficult for me as a young person. It's certainly been an interesting journey. Isn't it a fascinating paradox that someone so extraordinarily appealing as you should come to feel inadequate, but that is how things often turn out. As adults we can set about resolving the difficulties we struggled with in our younger days, just as you have done and are doubtless continuing to do. You are now officially an inspiration! (actually, you always were!) 💙

Although there are some exceptions I like to call assholes, I think on SG it’s like a big family no judgment. We get to talk about everything, get help/tips from strangers. Sometimes taking about our troubles with the one that are close to you is hard but since it’s through a screen it feels more like a rant that comes with helpful answers every once in a while.
