Always room for improvement but have been picking up the paintbrush more and more lately 🖤 do you have an artistic or creative outlet?

I absolutely think I have some good answers to the questionnaire @fredhincanada created and I can’t wait to tag some people to hear their answers too!!

1. Tell us about one of your favorite songs of all time. The song I have had on repeat lately is “Nobody” by One Republic. It is the theme song for Kaiju No. 8 and I have been super...

I would not spend the night in a graveyard for $100! I definitely believe in spooky spirits and don't think $100 is enough to convince me its worth the risk! I am a scared cat so it would be difficult to make it the whole night alone. Maybe if I got to bring someone I would be more open to the idea of making a...

I had a couple creepy experiences in a mausoleum. 🪦 I went one time to pay respects to distant relatives who are buried there, but got lost walking around the place, and was soon in a bit of a panic that I might not get out of there (which is not like me, as I'm pretty calm most of the time), I got so discombobulated and confused, like something was deliberately screwing with my head. 👻 Was weird too because I'm walking on this marble floor and I noticed that I couldn't hear my footsteps as I walked, I'd freeze, and then like a few seconds later hear footsteps behind me (no one was there) 👞, like there was this delay or something; it only happened on that occasion, when I've gone back my footsteps are normal. I finally got out of there, it was dusk 🌙, and I realized that I got locked in the cemetery. I had to wait for the watchman to open this huge gate, and it groaned like a haunted house gate when he opened it. They'd have to pay me more than $100!

Do I have to be awake the whole time or can I sleep? Also I wouldn’t do it for $100. It would have to be worth my time. I would say $100 every 5 minutes.

Wow! I have been so busy recently I have missed being able to check-in or post an update! Focusing on law firm interview prep and LSAT prep has been extremely intimidating. I have tried to focus every ounce of energy that I have towards it. I was confident (but still nervous) going into my first law firm interview!

I did feel like it went well,...

Don't remember you ever mentioning law school.  Best of luck with that.  Have you heard back by now?  I was vaguely in the area (Niagra)  for the total eclipse.  You should have been in driving range of totality -- did you manage to catch it?   https://www.flickr.com/photos/darkonc/albums/72177720316285963

I was gone for awhile but it is good coming back and reading up on your success. I remember messaging you in Feb of 2023 telling you you would be great and I am joyful that you fought like a Champion and are seizing all you deserve YOU GO GIRL.

I recently was trying to explain the phrase “nipple confidence” and was struggling to articulate its cultural significance. It was arguably one of the best phrases I have ever typed into google with the absolute best results from it. I wish I heard this phrase used more!

Unfortunately, I had to go back to the hospital for my knee after work yesterday. They put my knee in an immobilizer and it’s definitely quite painful but feeling slightly better now. Needing to obtain another MRI as I may have torn my MCL or ACL (or potentially both) completely 🥺

I am going to do my best to stay active on the site in

I would be a witch 🧙♀️ I love the old widespread folk belief that redheads are witches. In the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries, it was often thought that redheads were affiliated with the devil and satanic practices. Because of this, red hair was a marker of witchcraft and magical abilities, and during with hunts, redheads were often suspected and found guilty by witch hunters....

While October is always wonderful for Halloween and spooky festivities, it is also Depression Awareness & Education Month. When I started advocating for mental health, I had someone comment that “I can’t believe someone so beautiful could ever be so sad.

Something I have only recently been open about is that 2 weeks before I was asked by a photographer to shoot (resulting...

People don't realize that depression is a chemical thing, not something you think about and can "think away". I was diagnosed as a teenager (the regular variety, not the bi-polar one: I don't have periods of mania), when I get depressed (especially due to cabin fever in the winter months), I'm down for a long time. Talking to people (and chatting on here) helps. Thank you for sharing your story with us. I'm happy you're here.

Autumn?  Depression?  Makes perfect sense to me.  I was born here, and here is where I live.
