I think your math is a bit off. Did you mean to say 1% of rapist and child molesters are homosexual? Cause the other way around could actaully mean a lot higher percentage of rapist and child molesters are homosexual? I think anyone fit (phyically and mentally) enough to perform in the military and who wants to should be allowed to join.

it is past time for the army to drop its bullshit traditions of buddy buddy and dont ask dont tell... it is the amazing and beautiful people like you that suffer the consequenses of the backward thinking that seems to pervade the army and other branches of the military.

The military is the extension of our 2 greatest achievements, the ability to kill people we disagree with, and to find jobs for stupid people....these things have been honed to a science in the military.

Conversely you are a smart individual, who finds themselves in the army besides this fact, and therefore have to deal with the fact that people who never graduated high school can be instructors while people with a master's degree in engineering get made janitors.
