Polling other people, about the ratio between good & bad. As you know, I have depression. And, you may have noticed, since you got married in my native land of N.Y. we tend to be a pessimistic lot. - The other day, I heard a lecture on the problem of suffering, & thought that, maybe we just remember bad things more than the good things! - When I look at the perfectly formed left hip, in your profile picture, it's hard to argue against life being good.

Please excuse the ignorant Yank question, but Mardi Gras was weeks ago here. I wonder why your date is so different. Could it be that Australia follows the calendar set by the council of Nicea, in 328 c.e. or is it a Southern Hemisphere thing?

Its different everywhere you go. San Fran, Newyork, LA, London its all different! I think the opposite seasons play a part in it but historically I have no clue if it's why ours was this past weekend =]
