As a fellow performer, I 100% understand professionalism, reputation etc. I've put myself in a few situations where compensation was the issue and even that leaves a sour taste! I can't even imagine being deceived and trapped like that!! The woman who recruited you is scum! It's hard to find the positive but you are all the more wiser now for sure!
