Pulitzer Prize Luncheon
Today is one of my favorite days at work Pulitzer Prize luncheon day. I get to get dolled up. I get to eat yummy food. And I generally get to mingle with Pulitzer Prize-types. The keynote speaker at the Pulitzer luncheon was Henry Louis Gates, Jr. who is, amoung other things, wicked brilliant and someone that I've read extensively. He made a...

i have one question for you girly - why aren't you a suicide girl?!
bunny:
I have been completely out of the loop lately, but I just saw your journal from Scotland, and oh my bloody hell!! Fantastic! Fan-fucking-tastic! How are you able to devote so much time to amazing journal entries? Better journal entries is definitely something I aspire to accomplish. Some day, some day. In the mean time, just in case I don't make it back here too soon, good luck with your big move! biggrin kiss

Barbarella Does Scotland
There's no way not to make that sound sleazeeeeeee...

:::giggle:::

I'm completely sleep deprived and since the loverly Alison and I never actually got on a schedule in Scotland I have no way of determining how much I'm jetlagged...other than it falls somewhere in the "lots and lots" spectrum! And isn't that the way everyone should travel?

I strongly suggest that anyone...

Here is the link to the link to the set and the comments in the Hopefuls group. I'm certainly very disappointed, but I feel lucky to have had the experience! Now my mind if cranking to...

I don't usually comment on sets but you have go the formula right, lady ... sharp duds, hot location, good lighting, and your own talent. You are only two nipple-piercings away from SGdom!

What pray tell is a great northern bean?
morrigan77:
A great northern bean is popular in France for making cassoulet (a white bean casserole) and in the whole Mediterranean where many beans of a similar appearance are cultivated. These beans have a delicate flavor, thin skin, and are flat, kidney shaped, medium-sized white beans. They are also known as the dried seeds of green beans. In the US they are generally cooked and turned into Boston Baked Beans. But they are better straight from the can (even I don't soak and cook my own beans) and served with some ketchup and/or chilli powder.

You'll be proud to know that I passed the citizenship test at Ellis
Island. That fancy education is finally paying off. The scary thing?
After each answer they tell you what percentage of the people who
have taken the voluntary test at the museum answered correctly. The
majority of the questions were only answered by about 37% of all test
takers. Now, assuming that the...
