Is your one law school St. John's? If so, that's not a bad place to be, especially if it's at a midtown location. I was in a similar situation last year, as I didn't get into any NYC school save Brooklyn Law. And now here I am, nearing the end of my second semester at Brooklyn Law School. Quite frankly, I love it. I thought a second teir school would be the death of me, but there's no shame in it. Furthermore, there are a ton of factors to consider with NYC schools over out-of-state schools. Namely, if you want to stay here after you complete your legal education, your best chance of getting an in-City job is from an NYC school.

A couple easters ago, I was in San Diego with the best friend, and her big brother shoved us in a convertible and drove into Mexico for sunset burritos.
When we got back stateside, we dyed Easter Eggs at midnight and then drove to his house at 3am, filled his pool with pastel balloons and left candy all over his porch.

That is a kickass story! I want to get kidnapped and go to Mexico! I was in Mexico once a few years ago and LOVED IT. We drove along the western coast...along the cliffs...played in the water...ran on the beaches. I need to go on a road trip.
