REVIEW AND INTERVIEW: SIGN

Airwaves festival 2004, Guakerinn: SIGN

Ive just found the best thing here! No seriously, I mean seriously! Get up and get downstairs!

My friends sit and gape at my hysteria blankly for a second and I lose patience, run back down the stairs and fairly brutally elbow my way to the front of the stage.

Not quite the reaction I was...

ICELAND AIRWAVES 2004

The lead up to the Iceland Airwaves festival each October has the same impact on me as Christmas has on a seven year old. The days before see me frantically planning outfits, attempting to stockpile sleep whilst singing and whispering like a maniac. As usual the excitement was more than I could handle and now I have returned I can say once...

i've been wanting to go to iceland for a long time. i am visting sweden at the moment, and i was considering going for a while, being so close and all. but then i went to spain instead. still, the signs at kastrup for iceland express flights... sooo tempting.

after reading this though, i might just go for the airwaves festival this year... i won't steal it from you, i'll just go quietly.

Back in the 1990s headlines were grabbed by the very brutal murder of metal star Euronymous, thought by some as the godfather of black metal, by one of his contemporaries. The...

Mnus as long time favourites of mine are up next on the qui pro quo, Frosti their guitarist to be precise. Admittedly I have a rather unhealthy obsession with their home town Reykjavik but this means I have managed to see them live rather frequently in addition to their UK gigs. Well, come on now, young cheek boned, tattooed rock boys. Whos arguing with that?...

hey... you ever heard of Skindred? they're from the UK and i just shot a video with them. They were the most wonderful folks to work with, so polite and gentlemanly that their mums would be awfully proud. I chalk it up to their British upbringing...
if you've heard of them what do you think?

RE: MY SET

ok ok ok the couch. listen up it was indeed foul. but i chose to lay on the thing *shudders*
it had been covered until recently with another fabric but all the delightful stains were the many many many spilled JD and cokes etc over the years. i liked the grubby factor vs my dynasty dress. i promise the next set is...
