(how you handled this situation - your job and acquiring your RE license) I know how hard it is as I did that too for sometime and realized it just wasn't for me. You are a good friend with a good head on your shoulders, ambition and Smarts. I hope your friend realizes how lucky she is to have you. Good for you for having healthy boundaries and not letting anyone screw up what you have worked for or compromise your values! Remember Cops deal with people lying and trying to manipulate them daily so that's HIS world- they're just not used to dealing with honest, good people a lot so I think it skews their perception of people and society and makes them skeptical. As far as the boomerang BF goes- just remember the reason it didnt work - if they havent done any work to change those reasons- why bother?
