It sounds like you should get a stable job with the nursing, and with your creativity, interests and what i feel from your poems, it sounds like you will have no problem capturing amazing short films, without the help of a classroom. And if you don't know how to edit etc, take classes on the side, or theres even tutoials on the internet.

I liked that scene in 13, too. You should watch Irreversible, the french film by Noe... some extremely violent and distrubing scenes but if you make it though the whole films the way he uses the camera to express visionary states of mind becomes quite beautiful and even life-affirming.
