one candle and a burning soul
I emptied the box of matches into the candle...letting the parafin coat them and create a small bonfire on the kitchen floor..the wax growing and dripping over the sides...slipping onto the floor and making designs in warm streams..i touched the edges where the wax was gathering and let it follow my touch...drawing pictures..swirls and trails that turned into images..Drawing...

we used to pick our own strawberries. There were always soooo many mosquitoes. Were there mosquitoes?

freyja__:
how very trance-inducing.
i've always loved to play with fire and wax.. ever since i was a child. got me in lots of trouble.. but i never seemed to mind. add a little oil (essential, of course) and i'm completely blissful.

Hey Ashes,

Doesn't a little healthy fear make desire sweeter?

Do we always want what is best?

11:10 pm - throwing rocks at crystal houses...
Long nights seem to wake me within strange dreams. Infinite trails of secrets woven together in this mystery home. brocade, spilled wine and unspoken loves drown me in that curse of blessings. China tea cups filled with my soul smashed on the pavement. dwindling to shimmering slivers of childhood. Hold my hand. Wash it all away with...

Rainwater slipped down the windows of the old house today. I drank my coffee and watched the young passersby with their umbrellas, running about in the rain...

I've been working on my book hardcore lately...I'm still having terrible writers block around the middle parts. So I'm moving in from the beginning and the end. hehe. I was SUPPOSED to have this finished by my 20th birthday, but obviously that didn't happen. Lets see if I can shoot for the 21st : ) if you have no fucking clue what I'm rambling on...

I'm currently writing doing some book reviews on deadline and not getting anywhere. But I can usually blast through writer's block with lots of coffee and a long walk. Also, talking on the phone (to another writer) helps. Never underestimate the power of complaining.
jesus_christ:
cure for writers block: 1. stare at a flat object for at least two hours straight...such as a wall, computer, or television screen. the sky works as well. 2. make no attempt to think about anything useful. if possible, do not think, just be. listen. 3. sleep. 4. wake up. this is important, for without it, you cannot, i repeat CANNOT write. 5. make sure you are good and awake. eat something, stare some more, listen to some nice loud deftones or tool. nosebleed should get you going. 6.6.6. that is all.

We're going to be buying a new digital camera over at Absolute Reality Studios, yay!(www.absoluterealitystudios.com) It's probably going to be the Minolta Dimage 7. We've been needing a better camera for some mags we're going to submit to, so I'm excited. (Prints look much better as well) So we'll have more of our art prints for sale in a month or so.
