I love how you just won't stop kicking me while I'm down. You'd think I was paying for that kind of abuse. The nice folks at the VA have been pretty determined to keep me from using my hard-earned, G.I. Bill. I've been denied tuition assistance, for one reason or another, for almost 10 years, now. So this is my last stand. I don't get into school this time, and I guess I'll just have to move to Idaho. And become a teacher's aide. I'll specialize in teaching your kids how to interact, with black people.

Costumes at Dragoncon were so great this year, Mr. Ateh is finally convinced to attend in 2012.

I was there, but only in the free parts - the parade, the game room, etc. We'll definitely be there next year, would love to meet you if you are there!

been a lil busy trying to get my warfare pin. spent like 3 months studying. took the test 3 times and then the oral board happened.it was all the paper work stuff. like reading a military map, setting up pits for gun fire. mostly all the stuff you see in movies from Nam. i blew that so bad. got stage fright and couldn't remember easy stuff. with that and at times our wireless signal was crap. kinda wish i was at that CON but i will be home in a few short days and may catch an LA or Chicago convention. would be nice to meet you and get a pic. my son is 3 now. cant wait to see him hes getting so big and im missing a lot of great stuff at his young age. i never really had time to mourn my dad. he died and 3 weeks later i was on a plane to Afghanistan. i will be going home for a few weeks just to get some closure and be with the rest of my family....and maybe if im lucky spend alone time with Enza.........well hope all is well with you and your boys. get lots of pics from the convention....ttyl

Inquiries into your credit aren't ordinarily kept on your credit report for more than 30 days, and it cannot be counted against your qualifying score. It is an unfair hit to take as far as a point aspect, and most people reviewing credit will see it for exactly what it was. A single inquiry isn't that big of a deal to creditors. The red flag is when they see 5-10 inquiries, which tells them you are shopping out for credit and might be in a financially unstable situation.
