I seem to go through 1 cymbal every 2 months...
Replacing heads, sticks and cymbals is a far more expensive habit than crack.....
Try looking for used cymbals first- I try and buy them whenever possible, you shouldn't pay more than 75 bucks for anything used.....much better than retail/brand new stuff.
