I went to the Carnival of the Cultures last weekend in Krueuzberg. It was way sweet and fun. Temper gave me a nice cold brewsky after shoving through crowds and the parade. Mmmmm and I got a taste of what the pasteries in Morroco are going to be like. I'm going to have to do cardio every day there! No free rides from camels from... Read More
The pasteries in Morocco are nice but otherwise it can be a strange place. I've been there twice because i had jobs there. While government is making big efforts to fuel tourism, people there seem to literally hate all foreigners. I hope you will have better experiences.
thanks-a good place to start looking for is the Kopi (venue) and there's a record store called Yellow Dog records where they know what's up. Temper doesn't like grind, but she can probably tell you where all the venues are
Yesterday: Finished and emailed FINAL thesis!,
Today: Finish round one of interview with Danish mag, figure out how to use my new digi rebel (no manual), read, Dance, pay rent, buy coffee and hair conditioner, enjoy sunshine.
I spent ALL day downloading music and compiling new playlist/routines for dancing to when I get home. Just wanted to post something happy since my last one was such a downer
Nothing like cleaning your mailbox out and finding an email from your best friend who happens to be dead, great way to start the day. Listening to Jesu makes me want to be in bed with Sacha... must do Pilates and make a healthy lunch to lift spirits.
I'm going to see This DJ
on Saturday and been itching to dance I'm suuuper excited. They're gonna have "go go bellydancers" (whatever that is I should be one) and also an hour long suprise perfomance which I hope is a dancer as well. Also, got some good Turkish pop music at this liquor store in Kreuzberg. Usually Mid East pop albums are really bad,... Read More

Why am I SO shy to call people on the phone? I called Isi but it was kind of late in the day because I had a hangover. We plan to meet on Monday afternoon so that will be cool I wish I spoke German though.
I went to a BBQ at UDK last night with my friend John whos also here on exchange from... Read More
Haha, I can relate sooo much. I hate calling people, I always feel stupid. I even call good friends only when it's necessary.
I got a new camera yesterday, such a great feeling, isn't it?
Oh, by the way: Welcome to Germany! I'm sure we'll meet sometime, I'll visit Temper soon for sure
