So I've gone from not working at all and having absolutely nothing to do (you know, those days when you sit around in your pj's and pick your nose) to working 10 hours a day, 53 hours a week.
AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But at least it's non-profit work. I'm not slaving for anyone but the poor working class community, and they need someone to slave for them.

Twelfth Night is actually my favorite play. Got quite a soft spot for it, so I jumped at the chance to be in it (Well, not literally. I was on the ground. Okay, maybe one jump, but it was a small one). It's on the 21st and 22nd. That's really cool that you did theatre! So..no more, or did you and theatre just have a nasty break up? Hmmmm...

Today I started working for ACORN as a community organizer. It's an amazing organization.
Most non-profits have a bunch of young white people with degrees who came from middle to upper class families trying to help low income working class minorities. Usually these people have no idea how to relate to the people they are trying to help. The people of the comunity usually feel...

What a fantastic organisation to join! I bet you'll do loads of good work with them. I'm very well thankyou, everything is so stable in my life right now, which is how I like it smile
sofakingaural:
I'm proud of you for joining ACORN. Most people just sit around and say they are going to work for change, but never do. I personally been feeling like I HAVE to do something to change the world around me but I really don't know where to start. I have experienced so much of the darker sides of humanity this year that I've become somewhat depressed with everything. Again, I commend you on what you're doing and I hope I can find something similar to pour my time and passion into. You're a constant inspiration. Thanks.

OK, so I have been tagged, Thanks Logan. I know you are probably getting quite tired of reading these but I feel like if I don't play along I'll be a spoil sport. Plus, I'm sure that soon everyone will have gotten tagged and it will all be over. So here goes...

About boys falling in love with you - well I can see it. I had a time when girls seemed to fall in love with me a lot. I wasn't happy at that time and it didn't make me happier so it's not very important. I think you realize this so don't worry about it. It's transitory like all things are - I mean you will always be beautiful - but sometimes you are in the right place and time for people to find you and sometimes you're not. This transitory stuff is great though - things would never change without it.
much love - pereubu

Also take it easy with Acorn. I've known people who have worked with them and it's easy to get burned out. I've done similar things and you're not helping anyone if you're exhausted.

Yeah, definately let me know when you'll be in town. I'll be out of town for Thanksgiving, but other than that, I can barely leave my city (it needs me. I swear).

Oh, and next time you belch, try to get it up to an 11. Cause even though you should really only safely go to a 10, it really rocks if you hit an 11... biggrin

I don't know what to do.
My best friend Casey is completely screwing up her life right now. She is stuck in a small town in Ohio and she's hanging out with complete losers. These kids are 23 or so years old and haven't done anything since graduating high school. She is calling one of them her boyfriend. This boyfriend of hers is a complete...

Hey love, so sorry to hear about your friend. I'm dealing with a somewhat similar situation with my old best friend right now - he's become a complete coke addict.

If there's anyway you can get her to come out and visit you WITHOUT the "boyfriend" then you'd be doing her a great deal of good just by having her see a different way of living first hand. But make sure you don't try and take responsibility for her. You absolutely have to keep in mind that it's her issue, not yours.

To be incredibly trite, you can show her the door but only she can walk through it.

Here's me sending you good luck thoughts anyways...

REALITY CHECK TIME..!

You really seem to care about her - so you need to have a TRUE to LIFE, no BULLSHIT talk with her and let her know how this makes you feel..

Let her know that you love her - but what she's doing really hurts you.... wink

One of my two best friends is pretending to write a book. I thought I would share her passage about me. It made me cry.

Alexsandria:

I am a different person with Alex. Its like I have this special Alex personality, that is unique to our friendship, and is at times, out of control. Extremely vulgar, and sexually explicit, in the silliest way imaginable. I...

So, I still have no job, and (since I was ditched again) not too many friends...
You know, I've been getting down on myself for not having any good friends in Boston. I mean I have friends, but no close friends, nobody that I feel I can call and hang out with whenever.
I think I may have finally figured out why. People are very...

Oh, you are already pre-programmed in my acceptance speech (there will be tears, and it will go something like..."Alexsandria...I told myself I wouldn't cry...WE DID IT!!! ....we did it...."). And yes, I was quite amazing. Extremely graceful. Dangerous, but still innocent qualities. Distant, but warm. And you could tell all of this from the THREE SECONDS you could see me on screen!!!!! Yeah, my scene got butchered a tad. Tis okay, though. Got paid, got fed, talked with some fake hookers. Life's good under the apple tree....
