I feel ya...... I was bummed when they closed the Camden Teen Center and the Campell Teen Center.......... thats were all the shows we used to go to were..... Now theres no where for shows in San Jose the only places are bars and clubs and they get old after awhile.......

ahhh highschool days. just took a few minutes to think about them. it's sad in a way that they're so long ago now. almost 8 years. where has all the time gone? i don't want to go back to high school. though i do wish i could stay young forever. but think about it, in a few years from now, i could be wishing how i could be back at this very moment that's happening right now. so i guess i'm just reminding myself that i need to enjoy every moment. because high school days aren't any more precious than right now is. that's because this moment is all there is.

I love Vogue. I got the spanish and british versions of it just this week alone. Its such a guilty pleasure, like watching "the fabulous life of.." on VH1. Okay, maybe not that guilty
Most of all I love the photography. I worship Annie Liebowitz(sp?) and Richard Avedon (now deceased). My dream job would be to work for Vogue if not national geographic.

Life is like an abusive lover. Sometimes you feel loved and beautiful, sometimes you feel like you just got the shit beat out of you by someone you love. Thebest you can do is to keep dreaming, and aspire to be all the things yuo want, but to also be easy on yourself when the shit hits the fan. I am struggling with that myself. You got to give yourself some room. We all have parts of ourselves that are dark and scary. Embrace that and try to change what you can, and live with the parts you cannot change. Ah, wise words from a naked girl on the internet. Your experience sounds like an after E let down. Try to recall the part where the walls went away, and carry that part with you as much as you can. You will eventually find you can have it without the drugs, but it is rare, and takes work to cultivate.

Being an alumni of your current school, and being myself currently in grad school elsewhere, all I have to say at the moment is treasure that break, because you're at a school that believes in giving you a massively long vacation to relax and recover, and god bless them for it.
