You know, it's hard to explain, because I'm, to a certain extent, this way naturally. I somehow manage to sustain the belief that the universe has a sense of humor. I just try to laugh at things and take negative experiences as opportunities to learn and challenge myself. I remind myself every day that I am blessed to have food to eat and a roof over my head and friends and family who care about me and a million other things going right at the moment. I do my best to do right by others and try to be a positive influence in the world. Rob Brezsny's Pronoia is a good book for my hippie-dippie perspectives, I suppose.

But yes, you get what you put into this world. It's not wacky juju, and it doesn't even need a fancy name like the Law of Attraction. But if you radiant benevolence, goodwill, and humor, these things will come to you. The universe doesn't give us what we want; it gives us what we need.
