When I got my tattoo and the bandage was still on, I panicked and thought it was horrible. (I couldn't picture what it looked like without seeing it) So I told myself that since I had it, my brain would convince me I really liked it...becuase how could it tolerate me not liking it.
It made me feel a little better. Sort of like pulling the wool over my own eyes. But needing it.
