Sorry, It's taken me a while to get back to you. And my name change has nothing to do with your asking but it does have to do with the sudden feeling of being exposed in that article.
Anyway, I sort of remember obsidity being about the sun melting plastic. I don't know why. It was a book for a class I was in. And it wasn't so much the book itself but the emotions I had during a film shown in the dream class, which were very strong and sad.
When I woke up, I was so excited by the fact that my mind made up a word and it was my word. Because of that I decided I should keep using it and see what happens. It's funny too because I and other people sometimes think it says obesity. Or that I am saying "obcenity" when I am introducing myself.... So it isn't always the most mellifluous name out there. But it's mine.
To me it means something between obsidian and absurd...darkly strange.
And now it's FAMOUS!!!!

Charlotte and Trey are divorced. She is married to a Jewish guy now, and they tried to have a baby and she miscarried.
Miranda's baby was really ugly at first; whatever baby they were using always looked upset. The slightly grown one they are using now is cute, though. She and Steve are gonna get married, I think! Yay! I love Steve.
Samantha is actually dating a younger hot guy named Smith Jared. He's a model/actor, and he's yummy.
