Uvic sometimes has a bar, when they haven't lost their liqour licence and when their not on strike, for the past month for example. Boo united steel workers union, yes that's their union.

That quote was from the tv show 'wrecked' out of interest. It's about tow truck workers in the states that are basically in charge of keeping the highways clear and sometimes do weird stupid things with big machinery. The guy named his truck 'the misstress' so he get to tell the wife he's going out with the misstress in the middle of the night.

school is wonderful. school is all-absorbing. my days look like this...

7:30am: wake up
8:00am: have coffee in the kitchen with my wife
8:30am: leave for school on bicycle
9:05am: arrive at school

classes! reading! note-taking! assignment-doing!

3:00 - 7:00pm: arrive home

family dinner for three to seven people, depending on who's around!
conversation! fun! cleanup! coffee, tea and cigarettes on the porch!

11:00pm: bedtime...
