amanda, you commented on my journal entry that you were interested in getting down to Sin 13 here in san antonio. if you want, i could check with this guy i know who works there about anything you're interested in. he's a security guard, but real tight with the owner, i can try and get the skinny on the club for you...i haven't talked to him in a while, but Sin 13 people are real cool like SG people. anyways, didn't get around to going because i had to drop off my friend and work and then ended up taking one his coworkers out on a pseudodate and now i have to shower, shave and get dressed to go back and get drunk with him at work before last call...i'm very stoked about trying Guiness (spl?) on tap, I hear it's pretty awesome that way and only his restaurant and a handful of others in SA actually have it on tap...so, anyways, let me know if you want me to talk to my sin 13 friend...sorry to hear about your boy ben taking off, but totally glad to hear that you saw your record on sale (that HAD to kick ass...i can't wait to see one of my books on sale somewhere...)...

Hey, girl, saw your record today. Didnt pick it up 'cause the 'Loo puts price stickers on the 7" sleeves, wich pisses me off. I'm sure you didnt pick up my record in '97, so there . Cheers, and I'll buy the Yager on the 27th.

Have you ever thought about playing Sin 13 (www.sin13.com) here in San Antonio? They're pretty damn cool about playing local bands (unlike White Rabbit). It's definitely worth checking out...

Did you go to Arandas on S. 1st? That place is pretty cool. I got the big plate of melted cheese with the enchilada tucked deep inside! Ever been to La Rayna about 5 blocks North of there? That place is cheap, has great food and is NEVER crowded. Check it out!

They are selling it for $3.99. That's about the goin' rate for a 7" at the 'Loo. If I must settle for black, I will. I have a thing for colored wax. That's cool that they played you on the radio. I know what you mean about hearing your own voice. When I was in M.H., we were on the U of Richmond station. HORRIBLE!!! Actually, I have a tape from when I was 13. I played guitar and sang the intro to "Whole Lotta Rosie" on DC101. No one will EVER hear it either! Cheers!
