i picked up about 10 bucks worth of 2007 magazines at the library the other day. so lately every sentence that comes out of my mouth starts with "i read this article..." and since my friends are sick of hearing it, you are the lucky recipients of these vast reams of useless knowledge. for example...

i read an article in psychology today about how you...

it's almost 3 in the morning on a tuesday nite (wednesday morning?) and there's a great commercial on tv with the michelin man and his totally adorable michelin dog. having cable does bad bad things to my sleep pattern. i don't really need to watch a science channel show about oysters or another bette davis flick on tcm or another episode of roseanne. but i...

You seem neat. Friending you, assuming you care about things like that anymore.

Tv-mine recently died and I hate to blow a wad to git a flat plasma whazzitt-Now watching anything looks totally awesome and I watch too dam much-

Anyway keep positive-sounds stupid I know but letting the negative seep in has driven me under too many times to count

Social interaction is prime-The Internet's hardly a substitute but works when its 3am and all yer normal peeps are asleep-but who am I to talk

I'd LOVE to have a drink!! I'm taking my time getting across the state. Currently in La Crosse visiting some old friends, and frankly I'm in no hurry to leave. wink But when I get over to Lake Michigan I'll let ya know.

What is with that Hungry Brain thing? Just and SG gathering? Sounds pretty fun. I've never been to a Chicago SG meetup.

You are my hero for meeting Jack. I didn't know there was a "Jack" either. And I've been buying my chucks there for years. I've been wearing chucks since I was 12 and got a copy of The Replacements' Let it Be. I used to run the gamut when it came to colors, but I usually just stick with black and/or natural at this point in my life.

i'm selling my ipod. frown

it's a good thing tho, i'm sick of not answering my phone 'cause i don't wanna talk to bill people. and i feel much more calm about getting my health in order after getting back from montana (conference for pediatric cancer survivors) so i just need to suck it up and get the tests done that i need to get done...

you have the clothes I'll have the girls, deal?! x

Do not sell the Ipod. I would say better yet disconnet your phone. Hell change the number no one says you have to give your new phone number to the bill collector's.

I myself was thinking of getting anther job. I have a few ideas but I much rather work a few extra hours or maybe even a day then give up stuff that i have. Ipod is your small piece of Heaven so to you it might not

Be worth selling it. The joys of the ipod...Well mostly I use mine at the gym and It is so great not to have hear blabbermouths blah blah blah about anythinhg...Its like no one is there except me and I dont have to pay attention to anyone else...To me that is priceless.

Before the Ipod...I use to have to hear the usual blah blah and The countless slimy pick up attempts other guys use in the gym....And then the Mr know it all trying to give his advice....now...all that is gone! I hear none of it...and

I would not trade that for anything..I rather get anther job...it can be an easy job you know...

I will most definitely take that as a compliment!

Except that my hair isn't at all like Bud's anymore.

People used to say I looked like the kid from "Almost Famous". What's even better, is that I want to be a journalist... and that's one of my favorite movies! What a set of coincidences!
maxi:

I am pretty excited about it... I used to do mix tape (am I dating myself?) and CD exchanges all the time... have not for a long, long time.. I miss it!

I found and applied to a group for mix disc exchange on SG today.. excited baout that as well.

I missed finding good new music the last few years!

The "homemade" haircut is great but what do any of our opinions matter?

Do what YOU think loks good!
purplemongoose:
Go with the homemade do, all the way. Or Naima's.
