I took a step out the last few months, turned my back and left a life behind. I returned to an old one, and seem to have gotten realities mixed up.

I wonder if all Geminis lead these double and triple lives?

She may not be fit for public consumption, for private interludes, or for nocturnal emissions.

Maybe.

Insidious madness seeping through the cracks. It's more fun this way anyway.

Once she thought she was going home, then she realized that home doesn't necessarily mean where you grew up. It's just geography.

New Year's came and went this summer, they say it's time to let go and...

A little madness now and then is relished by the wise. The place you are, however, is built on madness. The very life is choked out by the sheer mass of it.

Home is where you feel safe and loved. Some wealthy people are homeless and some that others call homeless are at ease wherever they go.

You will always be moving on. There isn't really any going back, but there are times when you will briefly regain a familiar feeling and it will make you smile or at least sigh contentedly because you know there is still some continuity. surreal

Recently, my friend asked me where the transporters were.

I want one right now. I should be here.

I love you, little Angel.

I wrote your name in fire, and always thought of you.

I rode with the Green Man, and sung PJ Harvey at dusk.

Come home.

fuck.

I keep sitting down to update here, and I'll type a few lines and hit delete. It's all too personal, all too historical, all too fucking self righteous boring crap. It would irritate me to write it, and it would irritate me even more that people actually read it. What does anyone even get out of the whole public personal journal? Is it a...

as a writer? some people just can't write for no audience. it helps 'em keep a record.

as a reader? fuck knows. maybe some of just like to take an interest in strangers' lives. particularly when said strangers are as strange as you.

You know him, you love him, you wish you could wield a chainsaw and had a chin like him. But Bruce Campbell isn't just here to keep the Deadites from swallowing you soul, he's also here to teach us the delicate art of making love - that is, the Bruce Campbell way.

Check out Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way, his new novel at...

I've spent the last few days suffocating in the steam. Walking through hot wet towels, feeling the subway and thinking it's the very ground shaking - the latter was on my cons list.

I've spent my last few days washing my hands compulsively, but sleeping in my clothes. I've spent my last few days coated in a slick grime I had forgotten over time, revisiting...

it all looks so good on paper, doesn't it?

I remember when seasons changed, when you could distinguish the winter from the summer. But even as a little girl, I hated the winter. I hated snow, the cold, wet, uncomfortable plague of half the year. So I stopped winter.

Once upon a time (oh dear...she's back on that), she decided to leave. She turned away...

Winter can be cool, it's just a matter of perspective. You can be in 90+ degree weather, and take off every sweaty stich of clothing, and still be hot. But during the winter, you can grab a blanket (a fuzzy one), or turn up the heat or throw on a sweater, or best of all snuggle up next to someone you love.

Or drink something warm.

But Summer...? Never could get used to it. Winter, though, I like. But you're right, it is cold and wet, and it can get boring.

Which is why I love Autumn and Spring, when it's not too warm and not too cool.
