My little dog got loose and ran into the neighbor's yard, he knows my dogs well, he could have called me, but nooo, he calls animal control and they come and take both my dogs because their rabies shot expired 6 days earlier and so did their dog license. I got my pitbull back the next day, but the little one is still there..he has to stay 10 days, because he bit the animal control officer, he got scared. Grrr...my neighbor is such a jerk!!

A replacement CPU fan (probably the dead one) is about 15$ and another 5$ for thermal paste. You unclip the fan on the big green or golden PC board, apply paste liberally and clip the new fan in place then hook it's power cable.

Fan must be bough to fit the actual processor. The thermal paste is a sticky silicon compound that always makes a mess and is hard to wash off clothes.

It could also be the power supply fan (in the top of the backplate of the computer) and it that's dead, you need a new power supply, budget 50$. It's only a matter of uplugging all power cables and unscrewing the old one then slipping a new one in the back, screwing it in and plugging it all back together. I'd do it but I don't think you're in montreal.
