@frankiejay I got these to replace my platform ones with the springs, they lasted a good 7 years so not a bad innings :)

I've had mine since I was 16 - so they are nearly 12 years old! I'm literally walking on the metal heels because they desperately need re-heeling!

@raindogsteve I'm really enjoying it so far. It goes a lot more in depth than the BBC program does and yes, there are equations :D

Sounds cool :D I haven't read this one, but his other books "The Quantum Universe" and "Why Does E=mc^2" are both worth checking out if you haven't read them... It's not proper physics without lots of equations!Β
