every now and then when i stop by sg i see your profile picture and think to myself "is she really here NOW or did someone find pictures from back then?"

you're a trip back in time, reminding me of the picture books my parents had around the house of 50's pin-up girls.

*sigh*

RE: Freegan

Yeah grandma's can be a tender dilemma. I'm going back to redneck-vill for the first time since I went vegan this month and I spent a lot of time thinking about how I would represent this new change. I've decided to say becoming vegan was a decision I made to define my self, instead of letting society or my peers define me. But it seems like the same is true for the vegan police right? You are only accountable to your self. Is "cheating" out of compassion for your grandmother really "cheating"?

That first picture really is gorgeous.

Did you make the dress? (I know someone asked this earlier...)

It's adorable.

Makes me yearn to put down the several projects I'm working on now (all corsets for other people) and make a pretty dress for myself.

I am finally back home, yay! We got home a day early, so I have the day off. I slept in, so delicious. I'm still in my pajama-jammy-jams even! Meeting up with the lovely fishbat for tea and crumpets soon, so I guess I should get these curlers out. I love/hate LA. I got lost every time I got behind the wheel in that town,...

I'm in love with the book Salad Days right now. It's about this guys who is into hardcore, like Sweet Valley High for hardcore kids, only way better, but no hot twins (so far), and no drama. So I guess, only like SVH in that it's fiction...hmmm. Bettina needs to expand her analogy horizon. Anyways, buy this book.
My stupid government legislated the health care...
