Hmmm... If we were closer I'd take you for a hell of a girl's night out!!!

Bars would be open, wouldn't they? But I really got nuthin'. I like my birthdays to go by without much fanfare. Why not just get your family and friends together and bbq?

I have never cheated on a girl friend or my ex-wife. They always cheat on me. I have piles of friends who have been cheated on by men and women. There is so much cheating going on around me I am certain that marriage is a now an elaborate game of self-imposed illusion. It should be called "who gets caught first".

I have been trying my whole life to find someone to love, and I have tried several times but I am betrayed every time. I believe in monogamy and so do the ones I have loved. They just find someone else and dump me to pursue monogamy with someone else.

Your dilemma is not gender based. It's humanity based. It's also not a sexual lifestyle problem, it's an integrity one.

People will look right into your eyes and tell you they love you for five years and then one day out of nowhere, tell you they love someone else. It all seems so god damned confusing I am still shocked we have a civilized society to begin with.

I am convinced we are all going insane.

I believe that love is a verb. Something you do and work at. It might have some magic to it, and it just might fall on you like a sack of autumn leaves, but you have to want it and hold it. Once the magic moment of that first long staring heart stopping silence is gone, it must be replaced by something deeper. Sincere desire. Just because the leaves get all squished out of the sack doesn't mean you can't appreciate them flying about in the air.

People don't give a shit anymore about any of this. It's about the moment. What's in it for me? It seems like our culture is stuck in a permanent wander-lust with no cure. Instead of curbing our self-destructive nature of unfocused self-fulfillment, we suck in more commercials, video games, and one-minute hobbies. People trade-in marriages like cars. You have a better chance of financing a divorce than a new vehicle. People lose focus faster than meth-soaked gerbils.

For whatever reason, people who want the same things out of life never seem to hook up. It's one of the sadest ironies ever.

I feel your pain. It gets tiring just thinking about it. Maybe being alone is the best form of monogamy invented. We generally won't betray ourselves. Usually.

I hope my rant isn't too depressing, just wanted to express an "I feel ya" without the lame 3 word post of "I feel ya".

i just went on vacation this past weekend and we had the discovery channel in our hotel room. and all i did was watch the deadliest catch! i'm addicted! and crabs are scary. who ever thought of eating those things is beyond me. now i just want to get cable at home just so i can watch all those sweet shows! feel better.

I need to get back to school. I need to move on.

Life pretty much sucks over here.
