British Columbia is one of the most beautiful places on earth (except fot Rogers Pass, I got stuck there once in awful weather). You are lucky in so many ways, with a supportive, loving husband, a breathtaking area in which to live, and your ability to help animals get better, or even at worst, save them from unnecessary pain and suffering. I think it's great that you know how fortunate you are - so many people are blessed but never know it.
