Shiny Skin Under Scab..

About 1 week ago I got a large victorian piece on my upper arm. The scabs have really started to come off.. but I am noticing how shiny my skin looks under the scabs......

Is this normal ?
Or does it mean the scab came off too early ?

*phew*.. good to hear. All my scabs just came off.. I am pretty pleased with how my tattoo turned out. I'll post a picture once my tattoo artist finishes it !

mine were shiny too. it's totally normal. my tattoo artist wouldn't do touch ups until the shininess had faded, however.

now i know these are realy crap, i have total lack of materials etc at the moment, but i made a half baked attempt at making sum shiny newpaper style wings...
these are the results (there reversable, news print one side, and more colourful stuff on the other )

hmmmmmmm... what is the shiny stuff?? thats a good idea. what are you using to wear them with? like how to they hook onto you??

hook to me with elastic, shiny stuff is that plastic material (available from most good fabric shops, i love the stuff, great for art etc) ,the pics came out really badly cos of the light reflecting from them.

For those of you wearing latex garments out, do you prefer polishing your stuff and having the shiny look, or going for the matte finish (the example that comes to mind here is seeing nine inch nails live)?

I had my tatoo done today! Whoo! It's all cool and shiny... Well not shiny. Thats the cling film being shiny but yeah whatever.
