Anyone else going to see The Faint next Monday or Tuesday with Bright Eyes? It's fucking $25, but The Faint is great live and, even though I'm not a huge Bright Eyes fan, The Faint is going to be playing as the backing band for his set, so it should …

I've seen the Faint live so many times and they are better and better each time. Everyone should go. It is worth the $25 to dance to The Faint, even if Bright Eyes is about the dullest show ever.

I've always wanted to know what this really is. I've heared about people fainting when they get scared. In movies they faint when very surprised. What happens excatly? Do you just black out and fall to the floor and then get up like nothing happens with maybe a slight headache? …

I never fainted, but I have a junk heart. I used to black out every time I stood up. I could still think and function, but I would quickly tunnel-vision and feel a little warm. I happened a lot in high school. I'd get up at the end of class and lose my vision. I'd just place my hand against the wall and continue walking at normal speed. Amazingly, I went around a few corners and halfway to my destination without usually ever running into anyone. I probably looked tweaked. I bet my eyes were all glazed over and I was probably pale (and I have light skin to begin with).

When I was 15, I was disgnosed with some ventricular heart problem...possibly RVT -- I don't remember. I do recall that one of my ventricles was either ahead of or behind the rest of my heart's rhythm. I was told it was so serious I'd be dead before 20. Okeee...

The strange thing is, now that I'm older, it comes in waves. My heart usedf to be fucked up all the time. Now, it typically gets bad for ~6 months every year and a half or so. When it's not bad, my heart will beat somewhat normally for about 4 beats, skip one and then have a really powerful 5th beat. WHen it's really, really bad, it may only beat once every five times and when it's that bad I can consciously make it stop (for a short period of time anyway).

I've fainted a number of times & I'm absolutely aware thats it's going to happen so I make sure I'm sitting down when I feel it coming on. I get a ringing in my ears & my perception seems a bit warped almost like things are moving a little slower. Then I go blind literally. My eyes are open but all I see is black, then my hearing starts to fade out & bam I'm out. It's just for a few seconds but it's really scary. I'm attributing it to anxiety, but I may be wrong. I also noticed it happened twice when I was drinking & smoking pot simultaneously, but it's happened while I was completely straight as well so who knows.

I was sitting at the bar at Jones Hollywood eating some bread with my potato leek soup and glass of wine when my new Marilyn pulled through!!! Not all the way but I had to pop it back in. I suddenly started to get hot and dizzy. I have iron deficent anemia and am not stranger to fainting. I...

Universe speaks: YOU ARE NOT WORTHY TO SEE THE FAINT. I have bought tickets to 2 seperate Faint shows and both times obstacles have prevented me from witnessing the splendor. This time it was a foot of snow in Boulder. Jon and I got to the Table Mesa exit on 36 and decided we'd die if we kept driving. Someday I hope I am worthy...
