There's also usually a drag show on Sunday nights if that's more convenient for people. I've never had a bad time at the Cactus.

catus club is great, but a very small venue. i drink there a lot and i'll find out if there's any way to get a block of tickets pre-sold to SG members that may be traveling in from mad-town or other places.
cactus is a very small venue - i'm wondering how this is going to work out. i'll be there at 6pm when they open if i need to.

My cactuses are blooming! (Cacti? Suculi?) I've got five HUGE Easter Cactuses that I've had for a few years. I had a good friend back in grad school from California and she gave me several cuttings from a cactus that had been in her family over a hundred years.

I only have one plant -- a little cactus from Arizona. The heat here in sunny sun diego is PERFECT for my cactus. Carl the Cactus is content.
So I grabbed a cactus today. Yep, a stupid freakin' CACTUS.
I was aimlessly feeling around the table, searching frantically for my wallet in the dark and instead of finding that, I found Nic's shitty cactus -- IN MY FINGERS.
