@scorpiontim87 as you mentioned and as it was stated on this thread, this is a suggestion thread, it is not a guarantee thread to have a model turn pink. I am happy you recapped that major point for us all in your complaint. Also, girls YOU mentioned were turned pink, so I don’t see how this is productive for you to be negative and draw away from a joyous time on the site. I am so sorry this was not “Scorpiontim87’s Love A Hopeful Week”, but there are other opinions + factors that go into set selection. @hotdoguk girls turned pink who YOU nominated as well, so I don’t really get why you’re commenting other than to be negative and contrary. This wasn’t a “engagement farm” thread it was really a suggestion thread and models were turned pink from it. Why would you want to diminish the hard work and recognition of the ladies who turned pink this week? One of the wisest pieces of advice @missy has ever given me about SG is, “There is no pleasing everyone.” It is truly bizarre how we can do great things and still get complaints like yours. Plus, even if models aren’t pinked this week it gives a good thread for ownership to come back to and compare for future set selections. It was more productive and efficient to make one thread for everyone to interact on than to tag me in 1,000 blogs scattered across the site. @drunkfurball we have limited staff budget currently so we were not able to make advertisements around it and I am thinly stretched keeping things running as smoothly as possible, but I wanted to make sure we still did Love A Hopeful Week in the capacity that we could instead of canceling it altogether. If you want to unsubscribe that’s up to you. Making this thread and constantly featuring it on the Front Page would give hints enough, plus it’s the same week every year, and with all the models + members talking about it, it advertises itself, then a week starts where it’s all new Hopefuls with long-time ones turning pink, it’s not rocket science what is going on. Some models were overlooked specifically for their Discords where they like to talk badly about SG as a brand + company, gossip, and be toxic, because they don’t think staff knows what they’re saying and put on a fake sweet face to us. That energy would be better spent being a genuine positive part of the community and get them a lot further in life. There was no vote 1/4 contest as the feedback I have received from previous years from the models not selected was negative and they did not like to be pitted against one another and felt resentment if they weren’t selected. I thought a thread would be a kinder way to get interaction. Also, going off interaction on the thread I did take notice on who spammed, begged for votes, bribed members via free OnlyFans subscriptions or other incentives to persuade and sway votes (cheating) over organic + genuine interaction. An unhappy few throwing a tantrum will not ruin the support, positivity, and good vibes that this event brings every year and is a joyous time in the community. At the end of the day please follow the golden rule, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all! 🤐 🔐
