I'm a veteran with PTSD and use. It helps me with my anxiety that can pop up at the spur of the moment. I see a psychologist once every 3 months and I've told him about my use.
I'm not your stereotypical user. If anyone sees me in the streets, โฆ
I medicate for CPTSD in addition to near-certain undiagnosed ASD - I was raised in a couple of cult-ish groups, keeping it vague for now. Sweet Mary saved my life - I have a pretty extreme fight or flight response that made me unable to hold down a job until I took up regular use. Very Grateful to live in a city with a policy of de facto decriminalization <3
I suffer from PTSD too and weed helped me a lot to deal with it better. I really hope Germany is going to legalize it soon.

Who else is playing through it at the moment?
My feelings on the game so far are very mixed, without getting into spoilers I'm really enjoying the story but the gameplay mechanics are annoying the hell out of me. Every issue I had with the poorly designed gameplay from the โฆ
I got it for $16 and I still feel like it wasn't worth it. I traded it in, got $33 of credit, and bought 3 much better games for $10 each lol
It's embarrassing how a 2023 game specifically made for "next gen" and PC can't even run at 1440p 60fps. All I got was a mere 500p maybe 30fps if I was lucky. And that's after all of the updates for PS5. I have a high end TV that enhances graphics and it still looks and plays like ass. There are games 20 years older that run better. It's also embarrassing because the story is actually pretty good.
It just goes to show what modern developers have become. Most aren't even qualified to be in that position to begin with. And this whole "remember these are the same people who made Titanfall etc" is bs because it's definitely not the same team. They did the same crap with Back 4 Blood when it was interns who were a part of Left 4 Dead lol. Also: the director of Survivor was the one who released this early. Not EA. So despite how stupid that publisher is, it was really the developer's fault this time.
Lastly: here's an example of what modern gaming has become:
@imvanjance At least with Cyberpunk you could tell they didn't want to release it yet, and after a year and a half of additional patches the game is so much better and a ton of fun. Jedi Survivor feels like they had far more success with Fallen Order than expected and had to make a sequel without any idea what to do for one.
