Spent a week in Seattle and did ALL the touristy things. ALONG with seeing KING GIZZARD AND THE LIZARD WIZARD!!!! I tried getting as many pictures as I could but I got ZERO at the Gizz show :( It was outdoors and pouring raining. I will say the rain definitely added to the magic of the show. Nothing quite like a good hard head banging...

Gilt edging, special covers, limited runs, signed copies?

I have a large amount of Limited Edition sci-fi novels from Black Library, I love how good they look on the shelf and how good they feel to read.

Do you have any special books? Are they even worth it? What books …

I have a significant collection of limited edition or rather rare books, and, given time they are bloody well worth it. I bought a four volume set of the French revolution in 1967 for $50; it now sells for $3,000; another book I bought (The Secret Teaching of All Ages First Edition) cost me $500 in 1980; now that version sells for $8,000 and up. The trick is: "limited editions" of niche books such as sci-fi are not likely to get much traction unless signed personally to you by the author; first editions of same are far more valuable, tho not always as cool looking. Patience and combing book sales, crappy bookstores in college towns and knowing your subject can produce some gems, both aesthetically and as a long term investment.

The only limited edition books I have is

The Marown Files by Sarah Jayne Haines

The author is in the same Facebook book club as me and brought the book as soon as it came out. She then had a raffle to get a signed bookmark and a signed limited edition of the book.

The limited edition is the paler one on the right of the photo below

Below is the signature of the author and the number of the edition.

I love a good thriller! πŸ‘πŸ» I’ve been reading The God of Endings with my online book club. It’s aΒ novel by Jacqueline Holland. A spooky one with romance, suspense.

It's been four years since my last book was published, but I'm finally ready to release the follow up to the first in my Pulp series, Vegas Pulp! 15 short stories interwoven during one week in Las Vegas, checking off a lot of my sexual fantasies, and hopefully yours too. For the next two weeks you can pre-order the ebook for only $0.99, and then

@shines I've honestly never felt more comfortable than I do with my tail on πŸ₯°πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ I swim much better. I was already tired when this video was taken because I was racing children the length of the pool intermittently for an hour, 20 minutes before hand πŸ˜‚

Amazing. So the dolphin kick is actually more comfortable once you learn.

Hi SG land,

This year has flown by so quickly.
I wasn't sure if I had written just yet about my not-so-recent endeavors in pottery.

If you have been reading my blog in the past year you might know, last year in the fall I quit my job suddenly due to an unhealthy environment. It was then that I probably dove deeper into my ceramics...
