The grief never goes away, but life gets bigger in relation to it. That has helped me a lot in times of deep grief, it is especially true in retrospect.

I love birdwatching. There’s something so peaceful and relaxing watching them soar through the skies and land like an Olympian Gymnast.

This little one was in the backyard right before the snowstorm. Stayed for about 30 minutes then flew away, hopefully somewhere safe.

I am not so much a bird watcher, but my cats sure are!  lol. Have you ever seen the movie "The Big Year" with Owen Wilson, Jack Black, and Steve Martin?  If you haven't, I highly recommend it.  Just a feel-good movie about bird watching.
