Went to Rudy's... ate far too many greasy french fries. My stomach hates me right now.
I'm enjoying Patrick Wolf's Wind in the Wires quite a lot at the moment. Very gloomy and melancholy- lots of strings and piano layered over glitchy electronic backgrounds. Great vocals- sort of a Jeff Buckley-eque mournful quality to them (pitchfork compares him to Nick Cave as a vocalist, but I'm not sure if I hear it really). I'm going to sound like an idiot here, comparing a CD to a novel, but the whole album sort of reminds me of Wuthering Heights- gothic moodiness all over the place.
